Here are some pictures from a recent custom order. It’s Mr. Beardsley as Robin Hood! He doesn’t have a bow because Beardsleys do not have arms but he does carry around a little green sack filled with arrows. He shall steal from the rich – and give to the poor!

The Thermals in plushform are finally complete!
New drummer, Westin Glass met his ‘stuffed’ self, Little Westin last week for the first time. They seemed to hit it off right away! Hutch & Kathy dolls were created last year so now with the plush drummer, they make a complete set.

A lil’ video clip: Here they are hangin’ out backstage before their show at The Bottom Lounge on 4.29.09:

The Thermals new album, “Now We Can See” is A-W-E-S-O-M-E. Check out their new video – I’ll warn you ahead of time, this song is so darn catchy that it’s going to get stuck in your head:
Here he be! I just finished up my entry for a show called, “Mortal Plush: I am not your toy.” This is Pillpluck and he is in the state of mania. He stands at 17.5 inches tall and was constructed out of cotton fabrics, fleece and wool felt… a dash of fabric paint and a sprinkle of buttons.
The show is hosted by Art Whino Gallery & Licorice Tree in MD and will take place this summer.

For my latest plush project, I was inspired by fashion designer, Isaac Mizrahi. His new (and first) collection that he created for Liz Claiborne just hatched for Spring and is available now.
Mr. Beardsley was very impressed by the great use of color and patterns – how refreshing! This bearded plush creature decided to throw his own fashion show wearing outfits that were inspired by Mizrahi’s brilliant collection.
Mr. Beardsley had so much fun with Isaac, that he decided to go back with him to New York to try and pursue a career in modeling. Here are a few shots from this fashion-filled event! If you look closely in the audience, you might be able to see Martin Scorsese.
